Further East

Further East is a four day event in Bali for the luxury travel market, connecting Asian hospitality brands with travel buyers and media.

I designed and built the website for the first edition in November 2018.

Homepage and layout

A strong brand was created for this event, and I made use of the fonts, colours and patterns whilst designing the website.

As this was a new event, the user journey was focused around informing visitors on the benefits of attending. With a fixed header and simple navigation, users could easily apply to attend wherever they were on the website.

The Location

One of the unique aspects of Further East, which differentiates it from similar events in the region, is the unconventional location. To help further orient the delegates, we highlighted the different hotels and venues on the island where the event would take place.

The Gallery

I helped shoot the inaugural event, taking photos during the un-conference, marketplace and parties, which were shared on social media and used for sales and promotional materials the following year.

The Attendees

The directory of exhibitors is crucial for attendees to see who they can meet and network with during the event.

Each company is categorised by country and displayed with an engaging image, including special highlighted listings which help selected delegates stand out from the crowd.
