Manic Minute is a card game where you have 1 minute to write down as many answers as possible to the category revealed on each card.
I worked closely with Lujaro Games in creating their website so that people can purchase the game, as well as play digital versions of the game, available within a membership area on the site. This all launched in January 2024.
The website makes use of Manic Minute’s playful branding with big bold headings, styled buttons and doodle graphics.
The homepage provides quick links to go to the online shop and purchase the games, as well as navigation to play the digital editions of the game online.
I built the shop using WooCommerce and setup integration with a fulfilment company so the process of ordering the game is simple and secure for both the customer and the client.
I created a custom Wordpress plugin which allows visitors to play a digital version of the game. They can choose from the different editions of the game, select the number of rounds they wish to play and click to reveal the card while a 60 second timer counts down. All of the players then have a manic minute to write down their answers.
I created an interactive spinner for the homepage where the user can cycle through to view and select the different editions of the game.
The website is fully responsive, and emphasis was placed on the online games, with the idea that a user can open them up on their phone and play Manic Minute anywhere they want.
